New delimbing knife unit
To ensure the quality of the delimbing knives and extend the life of your Log Max head, the lower delimbing knife unit has been replaced at Log Max 3000T.
A well-thought-out frame
The frame geometry is built to reduce bark penetration in the measuring wheel hole.
The upper part of the frame is moved forwards to minimize the surface of the frame that is in contact with the trunk.
This construction leads to less abraded bark getting stuck in the measuring wheel hole, which in turn provides better conditions for good measurement and fewer stops.
FAST AND CONTROLLED CUTTING
The well-thought-out geometry of the saw box leads to the cutting being controlled, less saw bar fluttering in that it can be cycled out in a shorter time.
The attachment of the saw unit to the frame and the choice of cylinder give the saw on Log Max 3000T a long lever. This gives you good control of the cutting cycle and saves time.
